Theater Rentals

*Due to the renovation and expansion of The Lyric’s stage-house, a limited number of dates are available for use of the auditorium from November 5, 2010 – March 25, 2011 (the lobby and other reception spaces are not affected).  A temporary thrust stage will be accessible with approximately 12 feet in depth and 51 feet in width.  Please contact Rick Gerhardt at 410-900-1156 for more information. 

Theatre Rental - $3,500 vs. 10% of the gross (greater there of)

Labor - for front of house staffing, security, stagehands and wardrobe are charges in addition to the rental fee

Custodial Charge – $400-$800 (depending on the nature of the show)

Box Office

Box Office Hours – 10 am-4 pm Monday thru Friday
On performance days, box office will open two hours prior to performance time and remain open one hour past scheduled curtain.

If 10 days prior to the performance date, ticket revenues held by The Lyric are not at least 100% of the total rental costs, estimated technical labor, and other costs, the lessee must submit the balance.  If lessee is unable to make these payments (certified or cash), the event may be cancelled and ticket buyers reimbursed.

Lessee is required, at their expense, to provide a policy of General Commercial Liability and Property Damage Insurance, and Worker’s Compensation and Employer’s Liability in the amount of $1,000,000.00 (per occurrence) naming The Lyric Foundation, Lyric Productions, LLC and The Lyric Opera House, and their affiliates, and their respective principals and employees as co-insureds.
