On Thursday, December 17th at 7:30pm in Baltimore, Maryland
Internationally acclaimed star soprano, Renée Fleming, will perform a program of beautiful opera
arias and art songs at the Lyric Opera House. Miss Fleming’s appearance will support future operatic
performances as well as the Lyric Foundation’s multi faceted educational programs in the region’s
schools and senior centers. Nelson Coleman Jewelers and Hearts On Fire Diamonds are partnering in this fundraising endeavor by generously donating for silent auction a beautiful diamond necklace,* valued at $5,500. For one magical night, on the stage of the Lyric Opera House, diva Renée Fleming will wear this exquisite necklace adding her own incomparable brilliance. This is a priceless treasure and EVERYONE is invited to bid!

*18 karat white gold and diamond pendant style necklace entitled “The Sweeping Pendant” by Hearts On Fire’ designers. This design is reminiscent of Life’s Journey consisting of diamonds graduating from smaller to larger. The pendant consists of fifty (50) round brilliant cut diamonds of matched quality, 1.35 carat total weight, cut and polished by the finest diamond cutters in the world. Pendant measures just under 1 3/4”. The pendant hangs from a hidden style bail on a 18 karat white gold rollo style linked necklace which is adjustable from 16’ or smaller up to 20’ in length.

This is how the silent auction will work.
Every afternoon until the day of the performance on Dec. 17th, the amount of the current highest bid will be displayed here on the website. Bidders may send in as many new bids as they wish (bids should be in minimum increments of $100), always filling in the required information. Bids will be accepted in the lobby of the Lyric Opera House the night of the performance and the next day at Semmes, Bowen and Semmes until the bidding is closed on Friday, Dec. 18th at 3:00pm. The winning bidder will be announced at 5:00pm. The necklace is on display at Nelson Coleman Jewelers, 307 E.
